Oak and painted kitchen

This is a hand made kitchen by Armstrong Jordan Ltd, they often combine painted with timber cabinets. Sometimes using just one type of material can make a great kitchen look rather bland.

By incorporating colour, even white with real timber the effect can be stunning, in the photo you can see the island really stands out and becomes more of a key feature within the kitchen.

The painted part of the kitchen has curved cabinets within it's design, these create a softer feel to the lines of the kitchen. Most kitchens these days are very boxy i.e. square cabinet, another square cabinet, Armstrong Jordan realise that if you are going to spend a substansial amount on a bespoke kitchen then it need to look unique and expensive. Most of their designs now have curved cabinets or some other feature to emphasis the handmade finish, whether this is curved drawers, curved glass display cabinets, or in the most expensive kitchens a wave kitchen where units are bith concave and convex
